Iowa Gets 7-2 Win Against Ridge Raptors
The Iowa Crop Circles beat the Redstone Ridge Raptors, 7-2, at The Cornfield. Clyde Ashe, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The winning pitcher was Ricardo Cardenas. His record is now 3-3. The right-hander went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 8 hits for the Crop Circles. The Crop Circles sit in last place in the Frontier Northern with a record of 50-64.

Ashe contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Iowa in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 2-1, Ashe took a changeup from Morgan Chapman and stroked the home run to right. His 17th home run of the season allowed the Crop Circles to leap in front, 3-2.
