Behind an impressive start by José Féliz, Reading beat St. Paul, 4-2. The win was credited to José Méndez in relief. His record improves to 4-4. Millard Nichols took the loss. St. Paul's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Had Michael Cabrera not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Cabrera hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Railbirds.
