Storm Defeat Ravens, 2-1

In a well-pitched game between the West Island Storm and the Richmond Ravens, pitcher Ron Collins was superb. The West Island right-hander helped his team win, 2-1. West Island reliever Luis Galván picked up the win to move to 2-2. Joe Lowe suffered the loss. West Island improves to 70-44 with the win. They lead their division by 11½ games.
West Island won the game in the bottom of the 14th inning. With no outs and Joe Lowe on the mound for Richmond, first baseman Francisco Olivares hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Storm fans to their feet.
"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Collins said.
