Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Railbirds
Mexico City got a terrific performance from pitcher I-tsing Kui, but it wasn't enough to beat the Reading Railbirds. Reading won the Schuylkill Landing Park contest, 5-2. Kui threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Reading reliever Dax McKames picked up the win, raising his record to 7-5. Stanley Clayton was tagged with the loss. The Railbirds lead the Frontier Northern by 3½ games.

Reading took a 4-2 lead on Jeremy Watson's 15th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Mexico City pitcher Stanley Clayton in the bottom of the eighth.

"Winning never gets dull," said Watson.
