Spirited fans greeted the West Island Storm for their clash with the Richmond Ravens.

The Richmond Ravens picked up a win at Hot Box, taking down the West Island Storm, 8-4. Starting pitcher Curt Brown was a big reason why. Brown got the win, improving to 4-14. He allowed 6 hits and walked 2 over 8.2 innings. Brown allowed 4 runs.

A crucial at-bat came with the bases empty and no one out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when center fielder Daisuke Kobayashi, who finished 2nd in the AP in triples with 10 in 2069, hit a triple. The Ravens went on to win.

"Another day, another win. On to the next one," Kobayashi told the Richmond Chronicle.

The Ravens raised their record to 46-71.
