Miller Impresses in Redstone Loss
The Mexico City Diablos overcame a fine performance by Redstone first baseman Foster Miller to defeat the Ridge Raptors, 13-6, at The Raptor's Nest. Miller was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Mexico City starter Mike Kern was credited with the win after throwing 99 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 8-8. Dan Miller, credited with the save, is now 2 for 7 in save opportunities.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Luis Rodríguez? The Mexico City designated hitter had a 2-run single in the top of the fifth inning to put the Diablos on top, 5-3. For the game, Rodríguez had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
