Militia Deal Falcons 4-1 Loss

Michigan and Newark duked it out and the Militia came out victorious.
The Michigan Militia beat the Newark Falcons, 4-1, at Falcons Field. Michigan shortstop Brian Bowen had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Earning the save was Dave Kennedy. He's now cashed in 34 of 36 save opportunities.
With Michigan leading 2-1 in the top of the fifth, Bowen hit a fastball from Júlio Guerrero for a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Militia ahead, 4-1.
Michigan manager called it "a good, solid win."
The Appalachian Northern-leading Militia are 74-43.
