Coyotes Lose to Militia in Walk-Off
|
The Michigan Militia knocked off the Keg Creek Coyotes, 5-4, at Assembly Line Grounds. José Colón was a big reason Michigan won. The designated hitter was 2 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Ietsuna Ohayashi came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-3. The setback makes Keg Creek 63-54.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With two out, Colón hit a fastball from Ernest Reese for a run-scoring single. The Militia, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"It's great when the crowd gets into it," Colón said.
