Aces Deal West Island 4-1 Defeat

Atlantic City picked up a win at Trump Stadium, bumping off the West Island Storm, 4-1. Pitcher Hoyt Murphy was a major reason the Aces emerged victorious. Juan Calhoun was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 31 of 32 save opportunities. The Storm, now 27-90, have lost 4 straight.
The Aces had to work out of trouble in the top of the ninth. The score was 4-1, Atlantic City, with one out. West Island , with runners on 2nd and 3rd, was mounting a threat. José Aguilera dug in at the plate, but on a 1-1 splitter, he flied out.
