Amarillo got a terrific game from left fielder Mike Wick. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Ozark, 9-8, in 10 innings. Wick was 3-4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The win for the Outlaws lifted their record to 69-52.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Ozark. That's when Craig Horton hit a solo home run off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Victor West to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Horton.
