Newark Falcons starter Francisco Chapa found his groove in his team's 5-3 win over the Ozark Outlaws. Newark is now 68-53, 3½ games up in the Appalachian Northern.

Newark used the timely hitting of George Brooks to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Falcons on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I put my work in and trusted the process," said Chapa.
