Mainila Leads Keg Creek Past Washington
|
The Keg Creek Coyotes picked up a win at Coyote Den Stadium, topping the Washington Monuments, 7-0. On the mound for Keg Creek was right-hander Riku Mainila. He played a principal role in the triumph. Keg Creek raised its record to 65-56 with the win.
Mainila, who was born in Gyor, Hungary, threw 105 pitches over 7 innings, while allowing no runs.
"Riku was dynamite," said Keg Creek manager James DaBears.
