Minneapolis left fielder Leslie Parkinson had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Cape Canaveral Launch, 7-6. The winning pitcher was Jeff McAfee. His record is now 7-15. The right-hander went 6 innings, allowing 6 runs on 9 hits for the Maulers. The Maulers now have a record of 54-68.

Parkinson contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Minneapolis in the bottom of the fourth. With his team trailing 4-3, Parkinson took a knuckleball from Michael Erickson and stroked the home run to left. His 11th home run of the season allowed the Maulers to leap in front, 6-4.

"Chalk one up for the good guys," said Parkinson. "I'm sure our fans enjoyed that win."
