The Glacier Bay Ice Pirates faced a tough opponent in Boston pitcher Todd Phillips, but found a way to pull out the victory at Liquor Luge by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Phillips went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Glacier Bay reliever Jonathan Bower picked up the win, raising his record to 7-3. Martin Wilson was tagged with the loss. With the win, Glacier Bay pushed its record to 65-57.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Glacier Bay. That's when Jeremy Watson hit a solo home run off former first round draft pick Martin Wilson to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
