Aces Edge Monuments, 7-6
|
A 4-RBI performance from Rudolph Johnston helped the Atlantic City Aces beat the Washington Monuments, 7-6. Atlantic City leads the Appalachian Coastal by 8˝ games.
One of the clutch hits for Atlantic City came from one of their biggest talents. In the bottom of the 11th with one out, Juan Luis Ibarra, who led the AP in triples with 21 in 2057, hit a run-scoring single to put the Aces up, 7-6. For the game, the shortstop was 4-6 with 4 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
Johnston told a Atlantic City Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
