Chicken Haulers right fielder Bill Foley left his mark on his team's 11-2 win over the Vermont Lake Monsters. Foley, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2070 draft, went 3 for 4 with a home run, a double, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2 for Amarillo in the contest. Kevin Barker, the winner, goes to 2-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with no walks and 5 strikeouts over 7 innings. The Lake Monsters, now 4-10, continue their sluggish start.

The Chicken Haulers got a big hit from catcher Alberto Cruz. Facing Vermont pitcher Gabriel Beltrán in the top of the ninth, Cruz pounded a 3-run home run to center. His 2nd home run of the season put the Chicken Haulers ahead, 11-2.
