The timely hitting of Mark Armstrong helped the Cape Canaveral Launch down the Vermont Lake Monsters, 7-6. Armstrong hit 2 home runs for the Launch. The win for the Launch raised their record to 92-35.

Cape Canaveral used a timely hit from Francisco López to get the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Launch ahead, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"Nothing is scripted in this game," said López.
