The West Island Storm picked up a win at Trump Stadium, dropping the Atlantic City Aces, 7-5. Miguel Benítez was the difference-maker. The winning pitcher was Benítez, now 2-1. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 3. West Island is off to a sluggish start, getting just their 5th win in 14 games.

West Island used the timely hitting of Hunter Cranwell to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Storm on top, 5-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Cranwell said after the game.
