A 6-RBI performance from right fielder Harvey Turner, who finished 4th in the FR in triples with 9 in 2070, led the Death Valley Burn to a win over the Redstone Ridge Raptors, 8-2. Juan Jose Díaz got the win, improving to 10-5. He pitched 8 innings, giving up 6 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 1. With the win, the Burn sit at 69-60.
Death Valley used a clutch at-bat from Darby Blenkinsopp to capture the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Burn ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
