The Mexico City Diablos beat the Redstone Ridge Raptors, 9-3, at The Raptor's Nest. The win was due in part to designated hitter Donald William, who went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2. The win gives Mexico City a record of 8-6.

The Ridge Raptors had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Diablos going into the top of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 35-year old right fielder Bill Hayes came to the plate. Hayes hit a 2-run double on a first pitch sinker from Redstone hurler Bob Barrera. It was Hayes's 4th double of the year.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Hayes.
