The Outlaws grabbed a win, 2-1, at The Chicken Coop, overcoming a fine effort from Amarillo pitcher Kevin Barker. Barker went 5.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Chris Clark notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record now sits at 7-6. With the victory, the Outlaws upped their record to 67-67.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Ron Morrison? The Ozark first baseman had a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Outlaws on top, 2-1. For the game, Morrison had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
