Ravens Rally to Eke Out Win
|
Despite a great performance by Orlando first baseman Robin Andrews, the Richmond Ravens defeated the Rum Runners by the score of 4-3 at Krono Field. Andrews went 5 for 6 with a double, 4 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. The win lifted the Richmond record to 73-62.
Richmond used the timely hitting of Félix Martínez to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 15th inning to put the Ravens on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Exhilarating win," said Martínez.
