The home crowd had a good time watching the Newark Falcons and Keg Creek Coyotes get after it.

Keg Creek left-hander Gerald Casey pitched his team to victory over the Newark Falcons at Coyote Den Stadium. The final score was 8-2. The third-place Coyotes have won 4 in a row.

The Falcons had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Coyotes going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 2069 Diamond Debut Award winner Tom Day came to the plate. Day hit a run-scoring double on a first pitch curveball from Newark hurler Jason Ross. It was Day's 46th double of the year.

"I warned the team before the game," losing manager Corbin Vance told reporters, "that I'm wearing the same pair of undies until we win."
