The Boston Revolution had to overcome a big game from Iowa left fielder Júlio Fernández to leave Jackie Robinson Place with a victory. And they did, winning, 6-5. Fernández was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Boston is now 64-73.
The Revolution got a big at-bat from catcher José Vásquez. For the game, Vásquez went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Boston a 6-4 lead.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Boston manager .
