Reading and Philadelphia duked it out and the Railbirds came out victorious.

Reading Railbirds starter Adrián Jiménez was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks, 5-2. Ed Leibnitz notched his 9th save in 10 chances.

Sherman Parks, who is tied for 8th in the FR in triples with 7, aided the Reading cause with a run-scoring triple in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the right fielder went 2-4 with 2 triples. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Philadelphia manager Joey Santangelo.

The Railbirds bumped their record to 77-61 with this win.
