High Tide Thwart Storm, 3-1

Honolulu and West Island duked it out and the High Tide came out victorious.
Honolulu picked up a win at Hot Box, bumping off the West Island Storm, 3-1. Pitcher Dan Hanna was a major reason the High Tide emerged victorious. The winner was Hanna. He threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Tim Barnes.
Honolulu took a 2-1 lead on Robert Wade's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Wade hit in the top of the seventh, left West Island pitcher Tim Barnes visibly frustrated.
"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Hanna. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
The victory gives Honolulu a record of 77-62.
