The Redstone Ridge Raptors had to overcome a fine effort from Mexico City pitcher Pedro Gómez to win, 4-3, at The Raptor's Nest. Gómez went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Redstone pitcher Miguel Cavazos got the win, upping his record to 1-0. John Joyner got the loss. With the win, the Ridge Raptors have a record of 75-66.

Brad Holland was the walk-off hero for Redstone. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ridge Raptors third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was electric at the end," Holland said.
