Railbirds Get Thrilling 6-5 Win
The Reading Railbirds cut down the St. Paul Bearers by the score of 6-5 in 13 innings. Much of the credit went to left fielder Jorge Flores. Flores went 5-6 with 5 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Railbirds. Reading reliever Felipe Estrada picked up the win to move to 10-6. Darrell Holmes suffered the loss. The win for the Railbirds lifted their record to 78-62.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 13th. With no one out, Flores hit a fastball from Darrell Holmes for a run-scoring single. The Railbirds, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Reading field general Slam Dunks.
