The Havana Comrades got a superb performance from pitcher Brennan Ramos. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Glacier Bay. The Ice Pirates won the game, 4-1. Ramos threw 6.2 innings of shutout ball. Vicente Hernández converted his 6th save in 14 tries. The win puts Glacier Bay at 54-85.
Glacier Bay took a 4-1 lead on José Rodríguez's 14th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Havana pitcher Tom Miller in the bottom of the eighth.
Rodríguez called the win "a lesson in teamwork."
