Cape Canaveral Launch starter Gordon Ziersch found his groove in his team's 5-2 win over the Atlantic City Aces. Picking up the save was Nick Sharpley. He's now 33 for 38 in save chances. The Launch, at 74-65, have now won 4 straight.

Cape Canaveral center fielder Richard Elmore contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the first. With two down, he hit a sinker to center field for a 2-run single. It was his 48th hit of the season and put the Launch ahead, 2-0.
