The Honolulu High Tide got a sterling performance from second baseman Juan Castillo, but the Keg Creek Coyotes still prevailed, 5-4. Castillo was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Jack Bates picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-2. Kevin Holland was tagged with the loss. Picking up the save was Morgan Banks. He's now 8 for 9 in save chances.

Keg Creek needed the clutch hitting of Tom Day to notch the win. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to put the Coyotes on top, 5-4. For the game, Day had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Our team showed some spunk," said Day.

Honolulu is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.
