Jouan Plays Big Role in Iowa Win
Iowa picked up a win at The Cornfield, bumping off the Death Valley Burn, 6-1. Pitcher Chris Jouan was a major reason the Crop Circles emerged victorious. Ted Morgan nailed down his 3rd save. The victory gives the Crop Circles a record of 87-56.

Jouan was effective for Iowa, seldom allowing the Burn to square up a pitch. The left-hander tossed 106 pitches over 7 innings. He limited Death Valley to just 1 run on 2 hits.

"Chris made his pitches," said Iowa manager Andy Ward.
