Storm Come Up Short at Michigan, 2-1

Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Michigan Militia and West Island Storm.
Mark Anthony was outstanding against West Island . The right-hander, who finished 3rd in the FR in innings pitched with 237.0 in 2069, had a sinker that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Militia 2-1 win. Anthony, the winner, moves to 2-0. He threw 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 10 and giving up 2 walks.
In the bottom of the fifth, with the game tied, West Island allowed the Militia to go up, 2-1, on a West Island error.
"Mark was electric," said Michigan manager Henry Lehrer.
To call the performance of the 3-12 Storm woeful so far is an understatement.
