The Amarillo Chicken Haulers got a sterling performance from pitcher Morgan Banks, but the Richmond Ravens still prevailed, 3-2. Banks threw 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball. David Allen earned the save, his 29th in 32 tries. The third-place Ravens sport a record of 73-74.

Richmond used the timely hitting of David Barr to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Ravens on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Barr.
