Delgado K's 14 En Route to 2-0 Launch Win

Hot Box hosted a real pitchers' duel.
Felipe Delgado was superb against West Island . The left-hander, who finished 2nd in the AP in wins with 21 in 2067, had a screwball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Launch victory. The score was 2-0. The triumph puts Cape Canaveral at 81-66 for the season.
Delgado, who leaned on his screwball, allowed no runs on just 2 hits over 7.1 innings for the Launch. For the most part, West Island hitters were simply overmatched.
"Felipe was really on it," said Cape Canaveral manager Mike Best. "He's got a feel for playing with the hitter front-to-back, side-to-side."
