Keg Creek picked up a win at Coyote Den Stadium, bumping off the Minneapolis Maulers, 3-2. Pitcher Dan Hodges was a major reason the Coyotes emerged victorious. Minneapolis has now lost 9 in a row.

Bryan Hunt was 1-3 for Keg Creek. The 2064 Diamond Debut Award winner had a key at-bat in the bottom of the seventh. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jaime Ruíz. It was his 64th RBI of the season.
