López Excels, But Railbirds Win
Despite a fine performance by designated hitter Jesús López, the Havana Comrades lost to the Reading Railbirds, 10-7. López went 2 for 3 with a home run and a double. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. Havana's current losing streak has reached 6 games.

Reading used the timely hitting of Sherman Parks to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Railbirds on top, 9-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We're in a funk and we need to shake ourselves out of it," said Havana manager .
