Gregg hits 29th home run to Power Railbirds Offense
Railbirds second baseman Harvey Gregg put his stamp on his team's 11-5 win over the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates. Gregg was 2 for 3 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Reading in the contest. Juan Gallardo got the win, improving to 9-6. He worked 6.1 innings, giving up 4 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 1. With the victory, the Railbirds upped their record to 88-64.

Reading used a timely hit from Sherman Parks to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Railbirds ahead, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.
