Ridge Raptors Top Alcatraz Island, 5-4

The Redstone Ridge Raptors topped the Alcatraz Island Jail Break, 5-4, in Frontier action at The Raptor's Nest. The game was highlighted by the performance of Redstone pitcher Elvin Lawson. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Redstone.
Dave Velasco aided the Redstone cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the designated hitter was 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Velasco. "And not try to do too much."
