Ravens Fall Short, 4-3, at Atlantic City
|
The Atlantic City Aces picked up a win at Trump Stadium, knocking off the Richmond Ravens, 4-3. Starting pitcher Mike Salas played a key role in the triumph. The winner was Salas. He threw 6.0 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Curt Brown. Joaquín Moreno recorded the save, his 7th.
Atlantic City took control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Roberto Padilla hit a 2-run single to make it 3-1, Aces.
Padilla told a Atlantic City Daily reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
The win puts Atlantic City at 77-75 this season.
