McKames K's 11 En Route to 2-1 Railbirds Win
|
The Reading Railbirds got a magnificent performance from pitcher Dax McKames, who muffled the Philadelphia offense en route to a tight, 2-1 Railbirds win at Schuylkill Landing Park. The victory gives Reading a record of 85-69.
McKames allowed no runs over 6.1 innings. He also racked up 11 strikeouts.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Philadelphia skipper Joey Santangelo.
