The Richmond Ravens took Orlando pitcher Alberto Pérez's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Battle Field. The final score had Richmond getting past the Rum Runners, 2-1. Pérez went 8 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 11. Richmond reliever Luis Galván got the win, raising his record to 3-4. Nick Sharpley was tagged with the loss. Richmond has now reeled off 8 straight wins.

The Ravens relied on shortstop Eric Gentry for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
