Launch Take Tight Tangle

In a low-scoring contest between the Cape Canaveral Launch and the Atlantic City Aces, Tim Estes was the X factor. The Cape Canaveral right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Estes picked up the win for Cape Canaveral, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 10-12. Nick Sharpley picked up the save, his 36th.
Cape Canaveral used the timely hitting of David Harris to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Launch on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
