Collins Lays Hammer Down in 2-0 Win
In a low-scoring game between the West Island Storm and the Washington Monuments, pitcher Ron Collins was masterful on the mound. The West Island right-hander spearheaded his team's 2-0 win. Earning his 1st save of the year was Kinji Kanda. West Island is now riding a 9-game win streak.

Collins, who was born in Bellevue, Washington, threw 115 pitches over 8 innings, while allowing no runs.
