Redstone third baseman Brad Holland contributed to his team's 9-5 win over the Reading Railbirds. Holland, who is tied for 5th in the FR in triples with 8, went 2 for 4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Ridge Raptors. Redstone reliever Javier Martínez picked up the win to move to 4-5. Ed Leibnitz suffered the loss. The Ridge Raptors go to 64-93 with the win.

Redstone used a timely hit from Jim Monroe to get the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Ridge Raptors ahead, 7-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"We maximized our offense today," said Redstone skipper Barry L. "That makes everyone's life easier."
