Chicken Haulers Upend Storm, 4-3
|
The Amarillo Chicken Haulers withstood an impressive performance by West Island third baseman Rafael Aguilar to defeat the Storm, 4-3, at Hot Box. Aguilar was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was former first round draft pick Glenn Patterson. He tossed 90 pitches over 5.1 innings, allowing no runs on 7 hits. Victor West, credited with the save, is now 3 for 7 in save opportunities.
