The Alcatraz Island Jail Break stopped the Glacier Bay Ice Pirates, 13-1, behind an impressive performance from Mabuchi Fujihara. The 30-year old third baseman made life miserable for Glacier Bay pitching. He went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 3. Alcatraz Island now owns a record of 68-93.

The Ice Pirates had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Jail Break going into the top of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the three-time All-Star Scot Potter came to the plate. Potter hit a run-scoring triple on a 2-2 knuckleball from Glacier Bay hurler Ron Collins. It was Potter's 6th triple of the year.

Glacier Bay manager Matt Lehrer said: "We'll put this one in the trash can and get ready for the next game."
