Champagne of Beers Field was the site of a competitive game between the Honolulu High Tide and Ozark Outlaws.
Earl Stewart, who is tied for 2nd in the AP in complete games with 1, was locked in. The right-hander led the Ozark Outlaws to a 5-3 win against the Honolulu High Tide at Champagne of Beers Field. Stewart yielded 3 runs over 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 8. His record improves to 12-10.
Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Mike Wood? The two-time Diamond Glove Award winner Wood stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning to put Ozark up, 5-3. For the game, he was 2 for 4, including 1 double and 1 single.
