Railbirds Pull Out Late Win, 4-3
The Reading Railbirds picked up a win at Schuylkill Landing Park, topping the Redstone Ridge Raptors, 4-3. On the mound for Reading was left-hander Al Ratzlaff. He played a principal role in the triumph. The win went to Dax McKames in relief. His record improves to 7-7. Victor Jones took the loss. With the win, Reading raised its record to 93-69.

The game was decided with no one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Reading trailing 3-2, Eugene Bonner hit a fastball from Victor Jones to center for a 2-run single. Just like that, the Railbirds had a walk-off win.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Bonner.
