Diablos Stick Cheesesteaks with 6-4 Loss
The Mexico City Diablos knocked off the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks, 6-4, at Corona Field. Manuel Pacheco was a big reason Mexico City won. The third baseman was 3-4 with 3 singles, while adding 2 RBI. The winning pitcher was António Mireles. He's now 3-0. He went 7 innings, allowing 4 runs on 11 hits for the Diablos. Glenn León finished to wrap up his 1st save.

The Diablos got an important contribution from second baseman Alan Waters, who in the bottom of the second punched a 1-1 fastball into center for a 2-run double. It was his 6th double of the season and put the Diablos ahead, 4-0.

"We played hard and won," said Pacheco. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'

The loss drops Philadelphia to 10-7.
