Burn Raise Rally Flag, Beat Redstone, 6-5

Redstone second baseman Kyle Gaines was sensational. He went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and 2 walks, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Death Valley beat the Ridge Raptors, 6-5. At 2-1, the Burn have played well so far.
Death Valley took a 5-4 lead on Mark Hancock's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Hancock hit in the top of the ninth, left Redstone pitcher Chris Brown visibly frustrated.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Hancock.
