Comrades Earn Win with Late Rally
|
Havana pitcher Octávio Pérez had a large part in his team subduing the Philadelphia Cheesesteaks, 3-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. Havana reliever Brennan Ramos picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Artie Morris was saddled with the loss. Havana goes to 12-7 with the win.
The two teams entertained the The Ballpark at Habanos Stadium crowd with some good baseball.
"Not enough offensively in a winnable game," said losing manager Joey Santangelo.
